Somehow and I don't know how my work catored the MMVA's. My job on Saturday was to set up all the band's green rooms.
Highlights...
sneaking down and watching the arcade's fire soundcheck...makes my heart hurt, heard their single like 8 times, each time only got better
watching the alexisonfire soundcheck
half sneaking/half given permission to join in the festivities last night, free booze
laughing at the backsteet boys who requested peanut better/jelly snadwiches with the crusts cut off and bubble gum..while other bands got delicious wraps
watching the killers performamce
realizing celebrities and MMVA's are really not that cool, just because you put a bunch of celebrities together doesn't make for a good party
after a security guard was on a powertrip and said I couldn't enter an area and being all cocky, then I preceded to show him that I did have all area access, sucka
met a guy
Lowlights...
since I did half sneak in and was drinking had to watch out for my boss, who I ended up being right beside and quickly turned the other way, still scared of getting in trouble when I go to work next
the guy is in his thirties..I think was wearing sunglasses to hid his aging eyes
really wasn't that fun, would rather go to a party with my friends
