This past weekend has been a lil harsh. Saturday was supposed to be me, Ang, Diane, and Terry's double date together. My manager from work scheduled me on for this past Saturday(which I told I couldn't work unless it's an emergency). If I didn't work it, my nice manager would've been there from 7am to after 10pm. I really didn't want her to do that. She is very good to me but at the same time I wanted to do something for me. I usually think of others first before myself, as well as another individual I know, so that makes it hard to just say IM sorry but you're stuck. I know I can help but I kinda didn't want to help. I just sucked it up and now am waiting to reschedule it. Friday night I went to the usual weekened hotplace(Ang's) to sepnd quality time with the love of my life. Me, being the broke man that I am, couldn't afford to eat out so we made grilled basil chicken over honey terryiaki rice and vegetables. It was quite tasty. After dinner we decided to have a couples game of Scrabble over a tasty chesse and cracker dish with wine. I know we are dorks but I like it. Ang didn't drink her wine so I drank it.( got a lil buzzy too...not much..but enough to make me smile big) She did eat the grapes though. Twas a very intense game. Me and my lil asian ninja gf were in the lead by like 40 points in the beginning. Later the opposition came back to within less than ten, then eventually overtook us. But that wasn't the end of us my friends...oh no it wasn't. With little board left to play we struggled to get measely points to put the other under for good. Words like druids and anon were the general make-up of this game. Intense. At the end, Terry and Diane had put themselves one point over us and finished up their letters. They went first so we got to go again. I believe the score was as follows at this point: them:297 us:291
We had only a five-point word planned out bc we thought it would win us the game. To our surprise they got more points then we thought they would and finshed their letters off. I was shocked and Ang with a giant shriek from such a tiny woman said" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....I won't let you win!!!" lol Or something to that extent. Laughs and laughs but yet seriousness over-came the table. I, being the least intelligent there(in my opinion), found a spot for our last "L" and "I". I formed Li and it on a triple space which also formed Id. That got us 7 points to win us the game by 1 point. We have pictures to prove this wonderful feat if needed.lol After all of the shinanigans we over with, we cozied up to blankets, brownies and icecream, and Back to the Future part 1. I really enjoyed myself that night. I wanna thank my Ninja for being so wondderful and putting up with my crap. Also to the Scrabble opposition(Diane and Terry) for such a cool night. Hope many other nights come soon.
As for my edumaction......I have 2"A"'s and 2 "C"'s. It's a 3.0 which is way better than what I had the previous semester. I know I can pull that GPA up way more than that. I'll let you know about my scholastica in the latter entries. Unitl then.....Magandang Gabi!!! -Mahal Kita Maganda-<3
