Regarding Comeback-Fics (Need Your Help on This ):)
Hello guys, it's me (LOL). How long has it been since the last time I post anything here? I wouldn't even dare to check the date (ok it was 24th of August 2009 -__-)
During the last two years I've been busy with school work, school's the only thing I 'indulged' myself in, 24/7, for two years. For two FRICKIN YEARS (and the fact that I take two majors in two different universities just adds more drama in my life) I could no longer catch up with my friends, family, and fandoms; I let go of everything I loved doing and I'm terribly exhausted. I swear I could define the word 'bored' in a whole new perspective by describing the way I've felt during all those times. I'm so fed up with the same exhausting routine and suddenly I miss reading fics. I miss writing one, too, and is now seriously planning to write again (you may consider it a comeback-fic if you'd like, haha).
The problem is...I can't remember the last time I wrote a fic, it's been too long, and now my writing skill (if there was any to begin with) could be pretty much described as a MAJOR FAILURE (written in big, bright red letters). Really. Tell me to sit in front of the computer, open Ms Word for me and tell me to write and all I could do is just staring at the blank page for hours. That's a big major failure, don't you think?
And the second problem; I'm considering of not continuing with all the multichapters I've written since it's been too long and I bet people still remember them, but I'd like to hear your opinion on this before I decide to do so. And also, I'm considering of waving my Crimson Butterfly goodbye.
What is that Crimson Butterfly I speak of?
It's a fic I had planned to write since 2006, an angst with the characters of geisha!Kame, samurai!Jin, evil landlord!Pi, and a not-so-evil!Ryo too (oh, and the pairings are Akame, Ryokame, and Pikame). I was excited with the idea; it WAS pretty original for me but hey, it was 2006. With the birth of the amazing 1582 (which gave me goosebumps because Kame's performance is too similar with the portrayal of geisha!Kame I had in mind for this fic. And it was in 2006. Prophecy? D:) and many fics related to geisha-ish!Kame, 1582, and such, my idea is not so original anymore :/ Should I still write it? What do you think? *hesitates*
