Weekend
We had our social worker who is doing our adoption home study visit on Saturday this past weekend. I suppose the visit went well. She was allergic to dogs and cats and seemed to be in a big hurry to leave. We’d spent the better part of the last two weeks cleaning and fixing things up. She was there, maybe a half hour or 40 minutes tops. At least the house is really clean now.
Kim & I went with Rachel & Norm to the Tigers game on Sunday. Norm got the tickets from his Dad who is a Doctor who got them from some medical sales rep. The seats were 14 rows back from the right field dug out. I’ve never sat so close to the field before. It was awesome. Both Kim & I got horribly sunburned, though. We may very well be the two whitest people on the face of the earth.
On Monday I was called for Jury Duty. I sat in the courtroom for 2 hours. I was not selected. I went home at around 11:30 am. I watched TV, read a book about child abuse and worked out.
