Let's have a prayer circle...
Most people my age don't know what the fuck they wanna do with their lives. I don't run in those ranks. As Anderson Cooper is my witness I, Andre Jamie Lewis will be a Broadcast Journalist.
I recently had a job interview at NY1 to be a News Assistant. I felt that this was my chance. My big "in". I had to take a news quiz about the city and then I had an interview with one of the executive producers.
I do believe I bombed both the quiz and the interview. Well not bombed exactly, but more along the lines of scraping by with a 65. Not what I desired at all, I kept darting my eyes around the office and looking at my interviewers messy desk and photos of good looking people she knew and I just got flustered. Sooooooo I'm waiting now. I have to wait until after Thanksgiving to see if I get a second chance to impress them. I hope I didn't fail miserably, because the bank is getting to be too much for me.
Today apparently, there was talk of a possible robbery attempt to be made on our bank. Cops came in to tell our manager and everything. There were already two in neighboring banks... So the next entry you see will probably consist of me explaining how I was robbed at gunpoint. Look forward to that. At least I can cross it off my list of things to do before I die. Hopefully I'll make it home to do the crossing myself.
