Work was kind of crazy today. I've been setting up the new tactical machines so that they're updated. And apparently the head manager guy at the base doesn't think I have enough work. So I setup this fucking huge server computer that seriously weighed 50 pounds and was twice as long as a regular one.
Then some lady started asking me if VMS was set up so it could have a test run for Beijing or something. So I had it start to convert the map files (this machine uses the software I wrote for it) and she was asking me all kinds of questions about it. These chart files are obnoxious and contain literally thousands of folders and take hours to convert. So naturally some retard shuts off VMS in the middle. So I had to start it over before I left, and I wrote a note saying not to shut the fucking thing off. I'll be pissed if it does get shut off before the conversion is done because it needs to be done by tomorrow, and I'll probably get blamed for it.
Outside of work I've been hanging out with some of the other co-workers and mostly this girl from work. We went to the beach, which was the first time in a long while for me. Also we went to Dave and Busters, which is awesome. I pwned at Mario Kart. House of the Dead 4 rules as well. Going out to ihop tomorrow, which is awesome.
