GOD I'm halfway through my second full week of school this term. It sucks a HUGE amount of dick to actually sit through five consecutive days of chem class... On a lighter note, I get midterm comments tomorrow, and THEN I'll be allowed to be in a play again, which would be REMARKABLY more tolerable.
And right now I am trying to endure The Black Hole of television when noone is online and I'm done with work.
The Black Hole, by the way, is an extremely interesting phenomenon. The TV networks have signed an accord saying that between the hours of 8:30 and 10:00, they are to show no good programming on network TV. These Anti-shows consist of such things as Wrestlemania, Star Trek, Smallville, the O.C. and countless mindless reality shows. This gap is usually quite endurable, because I'm either not home, eating dinner, or doing homework. However, at present, none of the above is true, and no one is online. So I'm watching Star Trek, which has now segued from a Weight Loss commercial into a McDonalds commercial into a Viagra commercial. GOD America is crazy...
School was decent... A certain dumb fuck in my class decided to discuss how terrible Every Single Iraqi Person is, because a small group of terrorists attacked Iraqi Civilians during an important Muslim holiday. Apparently, (according to that creepy right wing) this is not playing fair on the part of ALL Iraqis, instead of not playing fair on the part of a SMALL group of terrorists. This escalated into a fight, involving me standing up and screaming.
A similar conversation arose about gay marriage, a point counter-point: The point being 'why is it your business if you dont plan on engaging in a homosexual marriage?' and the counterpoint being 'It's my business anyway, because I'm the same dumb fuck from the previous paragraph.'
And now IM just died, so I plan to fix it.
