My idea is to make a 3d virtual university so that people can earn regionally accredited college credits and interact with other students in their home via the computer.
11. Describe your idea in more depth. (maximum 300 words)
There could be teachers hired online that can give 3d lectures. These lectures could be accessed by students online 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Students could work part time and learn at their own pace. They wouldn't be limited to set times that the university would set.
12. What problem or issue does your idea address? (maximum 150 words)
t would fill in the gap of students that don't have a degree as compared to those who do. It would level the playing field. Also there would be less of a carbon footprint because students would be staying at home and you would be keeping your money in the community. You could get extra credit by applying the knowledge you learn from the university into the community. Such as tutoring children in school.
13. If your idea were to become a reality, who would benefit the most and how? (maximum 150 words)
Low income people and people who are motivated to learn who don't have the time to attend a university. The entire community that the student lives in would benefit because the student will share their knowledge with the entire community.
14. What are the initial steps required to get this idea off the ground? (maximum 150 words)
Contacting software development studios and publishers and college administrators. We would get them to communicate with one another about the project and starting a company to work on the project.
15. Describe the optimal outcome should your idea be selected and successfully implemented. How would you measure it? (maximum 150 words)
We could increase the number of students with a college degree and increase the overall mental capabilities of all human beings.
