ARGGGGG so swamped with school work.
Next semester I'm taking a max of 3 libral courses, this is just insane.
But I enjoy the work... yes... enjoy...
Actually I do.
A lot of interesting information and ideas come up, especially in my Psychology course.
Today we talked about theories of emotion and developement. Cool ne?
Otherwise I've been really infatuated with the Japanese culture through a Cross cultural Perspective in Craft course.
I really love a lot of the motifs and ideologies I'm being introduced to.
I think I knew subconciously that they existed but to comprehend them in chosive sentances is something all together new. The course has deffinately encouraged me to pursue teaching English over there for a year or two... though not until I get my degree, of course.
Just... the concepts surrounding life, art and beauty are, well, beautiful.
In the spirit of things I made tempura last night with asparagus and shrimp.
And understanding aspects of the arts culture has inspired a project I'm doing in Psychology regarding emotion.
I'm relating the ideas of Japanese puppetry from the Edo period to theories in Psychology that speak of physiological experiences preceding emotional experiences and ultimately that emotions can be elisted through the manipulation of characters (dolls.)
Otherwise, I'm dropping dead out of the GA.
No time and it's not really to my extreme enjoyment that I'd struggle to make time.
...Yep,
