leaving....

I've spent some wonderful days in Winnipeg... yesterday I wandered around with Ebony's mom and she took me into the Legislature Building and to The Forks, the downtown Market, and pretty much to see what there is to see here... it was nice. Other than that I've done a lot of sitting around and watching movies while Eb's been at work. And let me tell you, that was wonderful too.

Eb and I clicked right away, talking each others' ears off and having fun. We went last night to a mexican restaurant and shared Nachos, and tonight we made some Sole Fillets and baked potatoes and salad and had some wine (I actually drank like, half my glass... it wasn't bad) and there's a bit of a thunderstorm right now, nothing too exciting, but refreshing, so we went for a short walk in the rain. I danced a little, but Eb just walked.

so tomorrow morning I'm leaving here at like, 7:30.

I haven't been able to get ahold of Tasha or Sheryn, although not for lack of trying... so I've left them messages saying I'm on my way to Gravelbourg, and I'm gonna show up there tomorrow and try to find them.....

I just called Tasha's mum and she told me that they are in Gravelbourg for sure, Tasha just moved there on Sunday, and is working... so I'm sure I won't have any trouble finding them. There are only 7 streets in the town after all, and if (huge if) the people I ask for some reason don't know where Sheryn lives (which I HIGHLY doubt... I know the cheif of police after all) I can always either go to her parents house, or wander around the town calling her name until she hears me. I'm sure that'll be easy.

Gravelbourg is just South-west of Moose Jaw in Saskatchewan. It's supposed to be about 7-9 hours from here. I lived there for 2 1/2 months on Katimavik. it's a very small town, and I'm sure I still know it like the back of my hand... not that it's so difficult when the town's nothing but a 7 by 10 grid of streets. Sheryn's parents live on 7th ave, on the outskirts of town, we used to live 1/2 a block up from them and on 6th ave. It'll be amazing to see the place again.

off on another adventure in the morning... need my sleep.
