weekend
Didn't do much this weekend. Watched lots of DVDs, mostly.
Friday evening I threw in the second season of HBO's Spawn series, and got through the first half (the whole season is only six episodes, so it wasn't even an hour and a half or so). Didn't do much else.
Saturday I finished up the Spawn disc, then finally got my Xbox HD-DVD player hooked up. For movies that night, I figured I should at least make a ding in the movies that I've bought and never opened, so I started with Pitch Black (which I'd never seen) and Dark Fury, the cartoon that bridges the gap between the Riddick movies. That was about enough Vin Diesel for one weekend, so I finished the night with Boondock Saints (which I'd seen, but figured I should finally open my copy of it).
On Sunday afternoon I finally watched Peter Jackson's King Kong, on HD-DVD no less (it came with the player). I was totally impressed, both with the movie and with HD-DVD as a format. :-) Since I was kinda in Xbox mode already, I played some Gears of War for a while. Then in the evening I headed over to A's place for dinner and Soprano's.
And that was pretty much the weekend!
