I saw this mentioned on Loose Canon as well as Whitehound's recs, so came over to read. I love the story so far. I'm not sure why, but this chapter is very moving to me. I very rarely cry in a story, but found myself almost ready to over Snape and David Dursley's conversation.

Thank you so much. I was really hoping this chapter would do that. Hope you enjoy the rest. I must say it's very cool to get feedback on an isolated part like this and reread it now, when I have the end of the story in mind but also have a little distance. So, thanks for that, as well.

LOL!! That's so very Snapish and so very true!

The ghost felt a dizzying cascade of images, horrors. Things he had seen and done, long ago.

Oh no! As much as part of me wants to see him regain his identity, it's so sad to see him getting these bits back. His advice to David is very wise, though.
