Hello there. I'm back with a new wallpaper tutorial. I decided to make a tut of this wallpaper:

Tutorial
1. Open canvas and fill in black
Image Size Guide
2. The main four images are not resized and I placed them on the canvas next to each other before masking out the edges that covered the images. I wanted to keep the edges around though as I wanted to have a boxy style wallpaper. It looks something like this
3. Next I added the rest of the images. For image 6 (the one of Zainab crying) I used the select tool to cut the image of her face in half (I wanted the hard edge) and I set that to darken at the far end of the wallpaper. I masked out some of the hard edges but wanted to keep some of them too. It now looks something like this
4. Next I added the textures. The first texture was placed underneath all the images. I then used a blur filter (Motion Blur- angle -45, distance 180) and reduced the opacity to 25%. The second and third textures were placed on top of the images and set to lighten 25%. I duplicated texture 3 and placed one at the top of the canvas and one at the bottom. I masked all three textures. It now looks like this
5. Merge the layers together and sharpen (I used smart sharpen set to 35%.). Duplicate that layer and I then added a blur to it (smart blur 3,10). Merge the layers again and set that to screen 75%.
6. Now it’s time for the colouring. Firstly I upped the contrast to 25% and the hue/saturation to 15. Then I added some gradients. All gradients come from Belladonna. The first one was set to colour 50%, the second to overlay 75%, the third to soft light 50% and the fourth one to soft light 50%. Finally I added a photo filter, cooling filter (82) set to normal 25%

7. Finally, I added some filters which are completely pinched from other tutorials I have learnt (So I’m going to credit them for it. They aren’t used exactly the same but they should be credited). I merged the layers together and added a paint daubs filter (brush size and sharpness of 1) then I duplicated that layer and set that to stylize- diffuse (set to anisotropic) and reduced the opacity to 50%. I got that little trick from this tut
http://blacklagoon.left-unspoken.net/untiltheend.php.
8. Merge the layers together and go to filter-other-high pass (radius 10px) and set that to soft light 75%. Finally merge together again and add one final filter stylize-emboss and set that to soft light 100%
9. As a final touch add the text and a border (Stroke 6px). The font I used is called Ibleum and I got it from DaFont.
Hope that makes sense.
