HI there, so I've written several tuts so I'm going to post them. I'll do a couple now and then some more later. Made in GIMP
Open a canvas at 500x150 and add the picture.
resize the width of the image to 500px and position it how you want. Then duplicate the image twice, set the first to screen 100% and the second to soft light 100%
Next merge the layers and alter the levels. I chose 35, 1.06 and 239 for the input layers and 9, 236 for the output layers. Then click ok.
Next we’re going to add the
first texture which is from
http://forallseasons.deviantart.com/art/La...et-001-98706520. I used this one and set it to hard light 50%.
Next open a new layer and fill it with #c3eae4 and set that to burn 100%. Now it’s time to add the gradients. I used three gradients. One was a peach colour (it’s a gimp gradient called off white peach which I got from deviant art I think) and it was set to soft light 40%. Next I added a red gradient, set that to soft light 50% and finally a blue gradient set to soft light 60%. It should now look like this. Finally duplicate the layer just before the gradients were added and drag that to the top. Set that layer to normal 45%.

Next I don’t know how it’ll work for PS but with GIMP you need to go to Filters---Artistic---oilify. Just select the settings that come up (8, 8) and click ok. Then set that layer to soft light 25%.
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k63/hobb...orial/lrps3.jpg Then select a texture brush. I used the ones from Misplaced moments and used the colour #86b1a7. Just dot the brush around the image and set that to grain merge 55%. I added the text using the same colour. The Lazarus is set to Burn and the Rising is set to Dodge. The font is called Bleeding Cowboys.
Finally I added two more textures. The
first is set to screen 100% and the
second is set to Burn 50%. I can’t remember where I got those textures from; it might’ve been deviant art. Then on a new layer got to select all and then to edit--- stroke selection. I used a white border set to 6px.
There you go.
