While ridiculously huge in the UK,
Newton Faulkner isn't too widely known here stateside - and thank god for that. He came down off the stage and played a song in the middle of the 100 or so people who showed up for it. If you don't know Newton, he's fabulous. Basically him and a guitar, and he's amazing. Great music, great talent, great knack for telling a story and making the crowd laugh. He also does a pretty impressive solo acoustic version of Bohemian Rhapsody, and a very cool version of Teardrop by Massive Attack. Highly recommend seeing him if he comes to a city near you. He's got that sorta dreadlock cuteness going on too. Rawr.
