It' a new year, and things have been awesome so far!
I got a 100 on my exhausting menu planning project.
I'm working in a restaurant again.
I'm thoroughly enjoying the company of the best guy.
In two weeks, I'll be out of a classroom setting. Until September anyways.
Things are just going great.
I really couldn't be happier with things right now.
Making that project grade really did make it. Due to the paper part of it being a corrupt file the night before, I thought I was going to totally bomb that project. I guess being exhausted and re-writing from 1 to 4 am works for me.
On a sadder note...
Friday, Feb 1 a 20 year old UNCC student was found dead in her apartment. Her husband is being charged with the murder.

That girl was one of my best friends' best friends. It kills me to see her going through this. I can only imagine what she's going through, as well as the family. So please, be aware of domestic violence. Its something that you always hear about, but it never happens to anyone you know. Here's the clincher: all the victims are friends and family of others. Just watch out for each other. This is something that I hope no one else I know has to go through.
