Sadly, not good news...

My friend's test results are in. She has breast cancer in the left breast that has gone into the lymph glands. We are all in shock at the moment and I'm not sure what treatment has been recommended, nor when it starts. She wasn't in the mood for talking after she got the results, so I have texted her to say I will be here if she needs to talk, but I know her, and she won't ring me. Now I don't know what to do. I'm thinking I should leave her alone for a while, with her partner, to digest what has happened and come to terms with it, and then contact her again after the weekend.

I thank you all for the messages of support I got posted to my last post, but I'm asking for more positive vibes, please. This time, for a successful outcome to treatment. Thank you again - I have the best flist...
