What? Is that me updating to ramble about TV? Really? Yes!
Downton Abbey
This show keeps giving me heartwarming feelings and then breaking my heart and then making me laugh. I ship all the ships, which can explain a lot. I fucking hate Bates' wife omg. I can't believe Cousin Matthew (congratulations on your eyes) went and found himself a fiancée aaaaahhhhh. Cora seeing Sybil making a surprise!cake <3.
HIMYM
Nice return for the show. Except that I still don't care about Nora. I still ship Barney/Robin, ok? :p But I loved the surprise at the end!!! Victoria is my favorite Ted girlfriend.
2 Broke Girls
Liked it enough to keep watching for a while. I want a horse in my yard too.
Warehouse 13
Poor Claudia needs her BFF back :((. And I don't want Jinksy to turn evil! Why are they cancelling his credit cards and everything? Seems like a dumb move to make people resent you! Liked all the Zombie jokes about the Pete&Myka&Artie storyline.
Castle
So glad to have this show back. <3
Nathan, your faaaaaace. But she DOES remember. ^^
I have the feeling the Kate's mom murder storyline is only set aside to come back for... November sweeps or even this season's finale haha
I like it when Ryan is wearing a vest.
I'm glad Beckett's boring boyfriend is out. What's the point of getting her a boyfriend who's neither Castle nor Trucco. :p
Hawaii Five-0
This premiere was such a geekfest. I mean, it had Boomer tell John Locke she'd take him to go surfing!
Idk what to think about the ending :s.
Glee
Yeah, I still watch it. For now. But now I even find myself not enjoying the musical numbers much. This is making me sad. Sue is so awful now, it's really not funny anymore. They're always following the same patterns. She's mean, someone frm Glee Club does sth nice for her anyway, she gets nicer for one episode, then back to hating them and so on. And Mr Schue is ridiculous. Glitter? Really? Quinn's rebellion is so cliché and ridic. Rachel&Kurt's BFFness is always cute though. But my favourite part was Blaine singing.
Ringer
This show is not easy to take seriously so far but it managed to keep me intrigued about Shiobhan's schemes so for now I'll keep watching.
Parenthood
So many feelings about this show again. I love that Adam & Crosby are getting into business together, even if I can predict bumps on the way of course. Michael B Jordan is killing it as Alex (but then he's a FNL alumnus!).
Up All Night
It's a comedy starring Will Arnett. You know I'm gonna watch it.
Their obsession with the new neighbours was amusing. Leaving a bottle of Tequila on their porch lol. Checking their FB pictures to make sure they look good.
"Heading to the hospital." People probably think you died.
Free Agents
Better than the pilot. Still unsure about this one.
Modern Family
Yay it's back! I'm not as upset about New Lily as others are because I heard the original Lilys were not happy on set and that's one of the reasons they changed it. Her storyline was funny. Loved the scene at the end with the doesn't like sharing/always want to be right behaviours. And it was a call-back to the pilot and the Lion King scene that initially won me over haha.
Revenge
GDI I think I'm hooked on this one. It's pretty soap-y but I really got easily into it.
Community
The epic opening musical number! Abed freaking out about Cougar Town! Cougarton Abbey! hahahahaha Inspector Spacetime! More hahahahahaha. The Dean saying this year is gonna be more serious and then, no, just the same but with less money (is that a hint about the show's production money?).
The Big Bang Theory
Christine Baranski was in it for1 minute and had the most awesome line. "If you need any more help from me, my books are available on Amazon."
Penny's commercial was hilarious. Also, Bernadette's one scene and Amy in general.
Parks & Rec
It's baaaaaack. And still ridiculously awesome. Ben&Leslie's break-up broke my heart in a million pieces but at the same time it was such a grown-up logical break-up and you just know it's not over, just postponed, right? Just to make her dream come true. He knew what was going on. Can I please have my own Ben Wyatt please?
Ron and his secret survival backpack hidden in the vents and his cabin in the woods with only 3 possible activities and his rules of not talking hahaha. And Tammy One!!! Love Patricia Clarkson.
Ann Perkins knows her testies lol poor Ann.
What died on Rob Lowe's head?
Jerry has the largest penis the doctor has ever seen loool.
Tom and his endless list of stuff with his company logo on them.
Andy and April! Yesss to Andy being Leslie's assistant = more interactions with everyone.
The Office
I watched the premiere because I wanted to know who the new boss was! Glad it's Andy, he might be a lousy salesman but not a too shabby boss, he really stood up for his team! And there was adorable Jim/Pam that reminded me of the good old days.
Person of Interest
I didn't find it very interesting (pun unintended)... though Michael Emerson is still great and it's fun to hear him say mysterious things to "John".
Doctor Who
This is very fresh in my head as I just watched it.
So, are we to believe that the Doctor in this episode is much older than the one from the last one? Seeing how he's gonna die "tomorrow" and the age difference between the two Doctors in the season 6 premiere? And time has passed too in the "present" as Amy's doing ads now.
So River Song was the Astronaut? But how come after that we saw her as a kid in an astronaut suit in the warehouse? SO CONFUSED.
As for the episode, I enjoyed it, it was fun, and cute. But that's twice in a few episodes that a dad's love for his son saves the day, isn't it? And there's also the pirate episode with the dad and his son. Did someone on the show had daddy issues this year or what?
I love it when the Doctor speaks Baby lol. Little Stormy!
You know what? Now that I know what petrichor means, I don't think I'd like to buy it as a perfume lol. What's up with that anyway, it makes it sound like the Ponds chose this name so is Amy just the face of the brand or is there more?
So next week's the finale? Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh DNW! Because then there's gonna be a WHOLE YEAR of waiting. I think I'll rewatch the River Song episodes in HER order.
I also saw movies this week... Friends with Benefits was unexpectedly fun; Crazy, Stupid, Love was great (but then I love everyone in this); tonight I saw Horrible Bosses and it was a bit disappointing, it didn't feel like much happened in it, idk.
Last but not least... here, have some trailers:
-
Merlin season 4 (fuck yeah, Knights of the Round Table)
-
Being Erica season 4 premiere (who's the patient?! and apparently we're not sure it's the last season anymore?)
aaaaand now it's 1:20am... this is why I don't write this kind of post more often! :p
ETA:
Elijah Wood challenges Dominic Manamana Monaghan. Omg. LMAO. I love these guys so much.
