I removed my brace today (doctor advised to keep it 10 days at least, it's been 2 weeks). It feels a bit weird, it hurts a bit but in a different way as before, I think it's plain induced by wearing the brace lol. It feels so good to type like a normal person with both hands and all!
I got 2 calls from recruitment agencies that were interested in my profile. They both told me I should hear from the company that hired them soon. One call was today so it's fresh but the other one was Tuesday and still no call so I'm wondering what that means. :( Especially since they told me they want to fill the position as soon as possible. :(
from
fannish5 List 5 fictional doctors you'd want treating you. (Or not.)
WANT
- Gregory House: I wouldn't want to have to interact with him but at least I'd get the right diagnosis.
- John Dorian (Scrubs): because of his bedside manner and we could geek out about random stuff or watch TV to distract me
- Simon Tam (Firefly): because he's pretty
- John Carter (ER): because he's good in stressful & extreme situations (Darfur anyone?) and I ♥ him
- Captain Awesome (Chuck): because he's awesome, duh! And a surgeon, right? I needed one of those on my list. (what is Simon's specialty?)
I'm sad about not having any women on this list. Almost included Cristina Yang but then I thought of Awesome and he's nicer to talk to haha.
DNW
- Jack Shephard (Lost): omg stop projecting your daddy/island/Kate issues on my case and stop crying
- Sherman Cottle (BSG): this is a non-smoking area, thank you
- Ethan Rom (Lost): just too creepy
- The Todd (Scrubs): sexual innuendos and painful high-fives, no thanks
- Dr Robert (BSG): in case I'm from a planet he doesn't like
*PS: isn't this quote a rip-off from Arrested Development? only with pie instead of sandwich? whatever, you're still awesome, Community
