End of line (almost)
Chances that I'm gonna spend next weekend in bed feeling blue and crying: very high.
There's only one double episode left, idk how I'm going to handle this, you guys. :( It's like reading the final chapters of Deathly Hallows for the first time, or the first of the multiple endings of Return of the King.
This week I only managed to hold back tears until the end of the... "Previously on" sequence. FAIL. And I closed my eyes waiting for the drums but there was no montage lol.
What broke me first was hearing Adama saying they're abandoning ship while they show images of people leaving (?) the ship ;_________; and then again "to Galactica!"
How are they going to answer everything in the finale??? this is crazy!!!
So the flashbacks... I loved it! I'm a sucker for flashbacks and backstory and mixed timelines anyway! I mean, I love Lost! And my favorite Firefly episode is Out of Gas!
Caprica City looks so beautiful.
These flashbacks feel like there's sth MORE to them that just backstory about who these people were before the attack. Like, there's a link. And that it's going to make completely sense next week. We'll see.
- What's Adama mission that should only take one hour? Is is the decommisioning of the Galactica as seen in the miniseries? I thought so but after seeing other people doubt this, I'm having doubts too...
- Baltar!!! So true to himself. I love that they mentioned him forgetting Caprica's name haha. Not sure what to think about the story with his dad... he looks like he doesn't care about his dad but he did bring him with him on Caprica, he could have left him on Aerilon or sth. What were Caprica's motivations though? Getting close to Gaius? Or is it her compassionate side that we learned to know even though she was the key of the attacks?
- Poor Laura :((( She was so happy at the beginning with her little sisters (who look like her daughters but whatever lol). Who else thought of Tigh when they said the driver was intoxicated? I don't think it's him, that'd be too gloomy, even for BSG, but it did make me think of him. Also...who's that blind date guy? and I want to eat sushis now. "It's been 3 months"... since her family died?
- Kara in her old appartment!!! Cooking! Lee's face when she opened the door lol. He brought flowers! aww (hey btw you can totally see the Eye of Jupiter pattern behind her!) It's nice to see the softer side of Kara. "We should play cards" haha.
- Lee with the pigeon... wtf was that? Just to show the differences between pre-attack!Lee and post-attack!Lee?
- conscious Anders in a tub with hair, now THAT I approve! It's great to see his super scientist Cylon self emerge when he was supposed to be just a jock.
The flashbacks I wanted to see: Laura hiring Billy as her assistant and Kara&Helo as BFFs at the Academy.
And do all of these happen at the same time?
- Adama: if it's the decomissioning indeed, then it's just before the miniseries
- Baltar: a few months before the attack I guess? as it's when he met Caprica!Six so it must have taken a few months for her to get what she needed
- Roslin: she's talking about Adar's presidential race so he's not President yet, nor is she his lover, and not in the government
- Kara&Zak&Lee: Zak is alive and Kara&Lee have never met so it's a few years before the attack, right?
- Drunk!Lee with the pigeon: could be anytime? Maybe during his years at the academy? idk
- Anders in the tub: could be anytime before the attacks I guess
General comments as I'm rewatching
They're tearing "the old girl's heart out" :((( So true, Not!Chief, so true.
It's so sad to see Adama packing his office :( Also my thought was this "they're so smart, they're making the cast pack the set!"
I don't get where Baltar's political power is coming from. Through his wireless speeches? Are people on the fleet that desperate?
Starbuck and her equations: why not ask Dr Gaius for help? :p

Helo has such a good heart ^^ He believes in the different Sharons when even their own creator Tyrol doesn't (oh Tyrol, they're the same at first but their experiences are different, they're like, twins, they're not all the same to me). He doesn't seem to be mad at Tyrol at all. He believes everything will be okay, that the mission will be a success when his own wife doesn't.
Rick Worthy!!! I'm glad he was in the finale, he's so awesome, too bad his character was the least developed of the Cylons.
Boomer is leaning towards protecting Hera... I have a feeling she's gonna redeem herself through sacrifice or sth. Maybe she'll kill that motherfrakker Cavil (lol he did frak his mother).
Adama packing his quarters and now the pictures on the walls :( It's sad to think that for some of them no one knows who they are anymore ( I think they should still bring them all with them. Loved the scene of Adama taking Hera's pic off the wall. But... who put it there anyway? Helo hasn't given up on her, and I don't see Athena do that (or anything else, she's such a mess)

Ok, a bit predictible but so enjoyable
Was surprised that Baltar didn't seize this opportunity to make a true selfless act but then he's good at self-preservation... but he needs to be there for the Opera House vision or sth! Like, maybe he'll rescue Hera with Caprica!
Lee was the first to cross that line aww

Then Cottle and Ishay (but Adama is right, there are like, 2 doctors on the fleet! keep them safe!) (and he has a first name! Sherman!)
Then Caprica! wow (the look on her face... is she hoping that Baltar would join them?)
