Ninja post to the Mac user world out there...
I am ready to do what I should have done 10 years ago...buy a Mac and make some art.
I am interested in a desktop replacement Mac Book Pro so I can travel with it and I plan on buying the full version Final Cut Studio 2. I have paid off my credit card debt so I can put myself back in debt with this venture. Ram has helped me explore other options but it seems that Final Cut is the King of video editng software, so I am looking at entering the Mac world.
Ideally I would rather not buy retail, and my neighbor says she can help because she has an educator's discount. Also some have suggested at looking at used and refurbished Mac book Pros. Any tips from the LJ Mac users?
I am going from PC to Mac...it is a scary leap but that fear has held me back way too long. Any tips on how I can put myself in minimal debt would rock!
