It's been a long time, been a long time...
Wow...I haven't written anything here since April!
Well, mostly it was because of my thesis...the last two months were like Hell for me: I had to concentrate on one only thing...my stupid thesis!
But now I can say it's almost done! I completed all the work I had to do, and I'm pretty proud of it: also my professor was happy. It's fun because the early idea was a work about "Tom Jones" by Fielding and "Tom Jones", by Tony Richardson, which was interesting because I had to compare a book and a movie. However this project evolved and it ended being a comparison between "Pamela" by Richardson and "Shamela", Fielding's parody of Richardson's work. I am excited because I like parodies and I want to make a good impression next Tuesday...
Now I have much more time to dedicate to other activities, such as reading: coming from a Literature student it's fun, but true! Because of the last exams and the thesis I had very little time to do something else, but now I can do (almost) whatever I want! Actually I'm reading a book by Beppe Fenoglio, "Il partigiano Johnny". I think the English title is "Johnny the Partisan", or something like that (I wouldn't suggest to read the English translation, though: Fenoglio made many references to English words in the original version...I think it's better to read it in Italian). It's agood book, but I kinda knew it, since I had already read some other Fenoglio's tales (like "Un giorno di fuoco"), and they're wonderful.
So...after this confusing 00:30 post, I say good night to everyone! I hope to have time to write something else soon! = )
