Finally, I finished "The Prague Cemetery"...it was not that bad: Simonini was a fascinating character (though he was so cynic and cruel), and the whole atmosphere and story managed to interested me enough. The only problem of this book was its "wordyness": Eco, we all know you know everything, now please...try not to show this to us everytime. Potential interesting passages were literally "killed" by all those explanations...I think it was this which slowed down the plot, though I have to say it's still a good book.
Now I've begun with two other books (as if I have nothing else to do during my free time...): the first one is Stroud's Bartimeus' trilogy, for a reading group on Anobii; the second one is "Il partigiano Johnny" by Beppe Fenoglio, a wonderful book about Italian Resistance during WWII.
The positive thing is that today I don't even have to go to work, since the girl I work with is on a school trip in Milan, so I have the entire day all for myself, which means: "Study, little Hobbit...and don't forget to write something for your thesis!"
I'm really looking forward to June...
