(no subject)
Hey kids, how's life in the boro?? I'm still in Cinci, hangin' out at my aunt's house. My audition went VERY well! Probably the best I've ever sung and acted in my LIFE! The dance was a little sketch, but it wasn't terrible and it's ok because i freakin' killed my songs and monologue! "love can't happen" and "circle of life" turned out to be perfect choices. I think they are songs that they don't hear very often, first because the show Grand Hotel isn't very popular, and Lion King is on broadway now so most steer clear of it. IhopeIhopeIhopeIhopeIhope I get into CCM. I'm supposed to find out by the end of December whether I got into the music theatre program or not....they're filling most of the 24 person program from this day of auditions and they will see about 6-700 more in the rest of their auditions. There were only about 50 or 60 people there today, to put it in perspective a bit...only about 10 guys, if that...and a herd of girls. *sigh* it's over, all I can do is wait now...pray for me!
Also, while we were on our way up my dad got a call from his sister and she told him that their aunt had died the night before or that morning or something and the original plan for coming homeage was tomorrow, but I may be attending a visitation on Monday so if I'm not there, don't panic, I'm still living.
Thanks to all of my friends who've been so supportive over the past couple weeks since I've been preparing for this audition.
If I'm not there, somebody tell Mrs. Koenig that I'm not skipping (lol)
