I'm Back!
Hey everyone! I got home last night from my college escapade! Now I have to finish 3 books and do all that crap work...lol.
I thought I'd announce that after all this, my top schools are now CCM, NYU, and CMU...pretty much how i expected it to be...
(to katie) no, i'm still taking theory next year, i just wanted him to give me some extra help. also, i'm considering, if nothing else will work out, taking privately with him all year and only taking the AP class second semester so i can fit another class in to granulate.
oh, BE jealous everyone! i saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, RENT, Chicago AND Wicked (first 3 in nyc, wicked in chicago) Chicago(the show and the city) were rather disappointing) the cast was old, and there weren't any really good voices...and the city...well i was there on friday and saturday and the only "free time" i had was on saturday and most things were closed...so i went to the airport early and got on a flight home 3 hours earlier than my original flight home! so that was a plus!
it's good to be back, i'm exhausted now..
i need to talk to AP about Manhatten School of Music being her first choice...cuz i visited while i was there, and the only good thing was the dorms, they were brand new. the school was tiny, had very little rehearsal space...it was only one building (dorms were in a separate building)...and i don't see here liking it there at all...the people were rude and their jazz program is bigger than their voice program from what i saw..
anyway, if anyone wants to go out sometime...let me know...but i should only go out once before school starts back because i've got all this reading and applications to start, schedule to fix...just lots to do, as usual...
