Richard Armitage was named one of MTV's Ones to Watch for 2012, and through that we're blessed with a lovely, albeit short, interview about filming. If you haven't read the book he does give away a big spoiler about his character, but it's a nice interview and I can't wait to hear more from him as the months go on.

I have no sympathy for people who demand spoiler warnings for a story published in 1937.

I do see what you're saying but I also understand the other side of it too. I would have been disappointed had I learned things about Lord of the Rings before seeing it, or learned about things from the book before reading it. (In a way I suppose it's for the best I didn't know anything about fandom when I first discovered the films.) I always figure why not give someone a heads up in case they're trying to keep everything a surprise.

Have I said lately how thrilled I am that Richard Armitage is now part of the Rings world? Because I'm beyond thrilled at that. lol
