this fic was on ao3. in dwarven culture women proposed by requesting for the man to give them something, and the man accepts by delivering the requested item. bilbo doesn't know this, but at some point says "i'd marry you for two pins" or something. also, she has a baby with thorin that was grown in the garden, but i think thorin doesn't know that
