Overdoing It

Overdoing it appears to be what I have done, been doing, whatever. After the lovely trip to the Pierhead last week I ended up feeling rather wobbly - bus home has now been revealed as Slightly Unwise, and the seizure I had on Wednesday was most irksome to say the least. Especially because it meant I was unable to go to dad's poetry reading in town wot we had been looking forward to and preparing for, picking out the best poems for him to read aloud. So I was quite tearful at feeling so icky & having to let him down,, and then the seizure hit and I was just glad to be staying put and then napping afterwards. As it turns out the evening was a dead loss, he wasn't impressed with the poets from the other group, and they only got to read a max of 3 poems each in any case (which is fine except the tutor had said bring at least *six*). I felt less bad about missing it, after that, in fact dad rather wished he'd stayed home also, ah well.

And since then I have been rather groggy and out of it, which has mucked up my tentative plans for the week, which were going to an exhibition at the Tate Moden, male nudes, ooh, which I decided to not bother with despite the fact it ends next week and rather more annoyingly have postponed the planned trip to the Museum of Liverpool with dad on Thursday. Well, the museum isn't going anywhere, we have all the rest of the summer to go (had planned to fit it in before dad's poetry course starts again), and I clearly just need to rest, rest and furthermore *rest* as I have company next week and it would be silly to be too tired to enjoy that.

Meh.

Still, got some pretty new doll clothes and had fun dressing my dolls and taking photos of same, plus sorted out some older doll clothes that I never much liked and which will no doubt thrill some small child when they end up at the charity shop, and boxed up my older, cheaper, less favoured ones neatly. I've managed a few walks, and sat in the garden enjoying fresh air and birdsong and watching spring arriving bit by bit in leaf and bud and pretty yellow flowers by the pond (primulas, I think..?), so I shall focus on that and just look forward to a resumption of gallivanting next week. Yes.
