JUST LISTENED AND OMG IT IS SO GOOD, YAY!

i do a terrible braxiatel voice, but you do a brilliant one. narvin's 'acting' is even worse than it was in my head (in a good way), lady bracknell is fantastic (and makes me want to use this character as the docor and brax's mother in more things). and in general the dialogue is all really working, good patter with yourself. it is most excellent and probably my favourite podfic anyone's done of anything i've written. so thank you very much.

looking forward to the second one!

Ahhh, thank you so much! I am glad you enjoyed it, and really pleased you thought the dialogue worked. I have to say, doing Braxiatel's voice was oodles of fun; it's so distinctive, and so ridiculous at times, with his oozing obsequiousness. Definitely the easiest of the main four, I think; I tried to distinguish Leela's voice with a little of that gravelly quality Louise Jameson has to her voice, but Romana and Narvin were kind of just posh in different pitches.

Also, I second more Lady Bracknell. Whatever her real name is. Mostly because the Doctor and Brax having to deal with their mother is hilarious.

This is so good! I was really impressed by how well you captured all of the characters - I love this story, and you totally do it justice. And the play setting works very well as a podfic! All-around awesome :)

Thank you so much for saying so! I've just got into podficcing within the past year, and I enjoy it immensely; it's a different sort of fandom contribution than what I'm used to, though, so I'm dead chuffed that people are enjoying it.

I really liked this one too! Excellent stentorian mother, and really good, right-sounding Romana.
