I just found out some stuff about Doctor Who.
Firstly, Russell T Davies has said that the next couple of series are going to "pull back from the darkness" and have "more fun!" UM, HELLO, RTD, DID YOU NOT NOTICE HOW FANTASTIC THE LAST HALF OF SERIES THREE WAS??
That, coupled with the fact that we've lost Martha and are stuck with Donna for the first part of series four - I know we get Martha back, and Donna wasn't THAT bad, but still - could almost turn me off watching it any more.
But then I found it THIS.
THE GUY WHO PLAYED BAINES IN HUMAN NATURE/ FAMILY OF BLOOD MIGHT BE THE NEXT DOCTOR.
OMGZ!!!!
He was so creepy! And such a fantastic actor! And, hell with the fangirlishness, HE WAS SO PREEEETTYYYYY!!!!
It's just a rumour, it's not confirmed - but apparently the casting people said when they hired him, "This guy is too good to be just Baines, he's totally the next Doctor."
I WANT THIS TO BE TRUE SO MUCH I... I... I'M USING CAPITALS AND ELLIPSES.
Stardust was amazing again last night. Again. This time I could appreciate nuances and the prettiness of the filming, which was SO PRETTY. But the music and its LOOK!AT!THE!DRAMA!ness was a bit more annoying. It's like "LOOK! SHE'S WALKING TO A GOAT CART! ON A HILLSIDE! WHILE WIND BLOWS DRAMATICALLY!!! FEEL! THE! DRAMA!"
But I also squeed a lot more at parts. Tristan is just TOO DAMN CUTE.
