Hey Katie! Happy to hear that things are all pretty shiny.
An archeologist friend of mine has just flagged this up, and I thought you might be super interested:

Future curators is a unique and exciting project which will offer trainees the opportunity to spend a total of 18 months at two UK museums where they will gain in-depth knowledge of the museum sector as well as an accredited diploma in curatorship.
Trainees will spend six months on placement at the British Museum and a further 12 months at a partner museum, working as a valuable addition and active member of both organisations’ collections teams.

Currently pondering 3YGB options - it's insanely near my home town (Skipton) so would be very easy for me to come up from London and attend. Dan was round at mine last week for a Burns Night supper and told me what you'd like him to play. =)
Argh. ARGH. AAAARGHHHHH THAT LOOKS SO GOOD! I am applying RIGHT NOW and also trying to prepare myself for the crushing disappointment when I inevitably don't get it. ARGH. Also praying that if I get through the initial selection process, they'd schedule me an interview not in the official interview week, because I'm kiiinda in New Zealand that week. AAAAARGH. What if they say no? AAAAAAAAARGH.
Also, yes, come to the 3YGB! I'll even put you guys in the same group if you want :D
I still haven't heard back from them from my application. They haven't even let me know if it would be possible to change the date if I was to be offered an interview. Egad.
