Choose Me, Bilbo/?

Due to a discussion about family genealogy it is discovered that male hobbits can carry children.

Que the unmarried dwarves competing against each other to show Bilbo who will be the best to father his child

Don't particularly mind who ends up with Bilbo, nor if any other pairins crop up

The silence following Bilbo's words is so sudden and so complete that for a moment, he thinks he's gone deaf

Bifur says something that Bilbo doesn't understand at all, but it sounds a bit menacing and disturbingly lurid. The rest of the company erupts in incredulous laughter, and Bofur slaps his cousin's shoulder playfully

Thorin finds him some time later, as he's sitting next to a small lake throwing pebbles on the water to make ricochets.

Bilbo eyes the dwarf warily. "Are you alone?"

Thorin nods. He has a small smile on his lips as he sits next to the hobbit.

"Gandalf is trying to calm them down."

"He's a bit late for that," grumbles Bilbo.

"He's only doing it because Gloin and Bombur have asked him to," admits Thorin. "I think he was enjoying himself quite a lot. He might have bruised a lung under the strain of restraining his laughter, when Oin claimed he was an amazing lover."

Bilbo hides in his hands. Oh, how glad he is that he ran away before hearing that part of the argument!

"They are all demented. Even Balin!" he says. "Even Balin, Thorin

I should have said, the third part is angsty AND, though it does deal with dwobbits and is a follow-up of the fic, it doesn't have much to do with the original prompt. That's also why I hesitate to post it.

Okay, I go away now...

Kíli shouting 'I'm pretty' should be a fandom staple. I like this, dear author, and would love to read more. Ahem. But Bilbo teasing Thorin is adorable, and I dig it. Yeah. Good job :B
