Everything happens in Rivendell

In a lot of the fics I'm reading, everything gets resolved in Rivendell. When one lover runs away, the other follows and their big moment is in Rivendell. When one of them is pregnant, they need Elrond's help to give birth. When there's a disagreement among kin, the apology happens in Rivendell. When someone is in mourning, they come to Rivendell for peace.

Rivendell is a way-station that's been around for 4600 years; there have probably been countless such things in its history. I'd like to see Elrond's perspective on all the romantic shenanigans. Perhaps the reason Elrond knew Thrór is because Thrór had to chase after his future wife after sticking his foot in his mouth, and now Elrond sees Thorin doing the same thing with Bilbo. Perhaps Dáin stayed in Rivendell after the Battle of Azanulbizar to grieve over his dad's death and worry about being king soon, and now Fíli's worried about the same thing.

Just give me Elrond's POV on all the crazy dwarves and Men that have flowed through his home and everything he's witnessed there. If Anon gets permission, I'd love a rewrite of a fic where the culmination of events happens in Rivendell but from Elrond's POV.

Can be crack or serious but I would prefer a more stately book!Elrond, who's quietly amused in the background. However, anything is fine.
