My family is adopting a basset hound..... WHUUUUUUUUT?
I've never been a huge pet person. My brother Stephen is really good with dogs. Patrick is ridiculously awkward. Patrick encountering dogs usually ends up looking at me with these unsure-"What do I do to it?" eyes. Both my parents are dog people. They grew up with dogs their entire lives until they got married and had a home of their own.
I'm kind of excited. However, I'm also rather weirded out and scared. It's going to be like having a six family member living with us. I'll be gone till May-ish. So I'll be coming back after it has gotten used to everything.

I just came back from seeing 10,000 BC. Remember at the beginning of Jurassic Park: The Lost World and that little girl gets attacked by the Compsagnathus's? (the little chicken-like dinosaurs). That little girl is all grown up now and in the movie as the main girl. You guys probably know her better as the girl from When a Stranger Calls. But.... Jurassic Park is basically my life...
The main protagonist guy was worth the 9 dollars all in of himself. I liked this movie a lot.
I feel like I want to get dreadlocks now. Don't judge me.
