When I got up this morning, the sky was blue, the few clouds around were white and puffy; it looked like the rain had left. For once, the weather forecasters were right. So I had breakfast and got ready for church.
The drive to church was pleasant. I had the windows open and the air was cool, but not unpleasantly so.
But when I got within half a mile of the church (and I live 19 miles from it), it started raining! It lasted for all of 10 seconds, fortunately. I drove into the parking lot, parked and got out to look around.
I swear, in the entire East Valley, there was only one small gray cloud with too much water in it, and it had to release some at that time.
From a conversation I had in the worship center, the cloud remained where it was for a while. But it was gone when I left, the sky is blue and the few clouds around are white and puffy.
One lousy raincloud is not going to spoil my day!
