I have a cold. It's the first one I've had in a looooong time. It went straight to my chest (Since I've had both bronchitis and Valley Fever, I'm very susceptible to chest colds.), of course.
So, I went to my medicine cabinet to see what I had. The only cold remedy I can take is Coricidin HBP, since I am on blood pressure medicine. The type I had was for "Cold and Flu", which doesn't treat chest colds. I took it anyway, thinking that the throat losenges and hot tea I was also taking would help.
I went to Wal Mart to see if they had the other types, and they had 3 of the 4. So I got the one for coughs. It really broke up the phlegm; I've been coughing it up. But now I'm sneezing like crazy, and my nose is running like a leaky faucet. *sigh*
Why did it have to happen now? I'm singing with the rest of the chorale tomorrow. Oh, wait. I just answered my own question.
So, tomorrow I'll take the last of the "Cold and Flu" medicine, so I'm not sneezing - I hope - through the services. Perhaps, on the way home, I'll check the other Wal Mart and see if they have the multi-symptom Coricidin HBP that the other one didn't have.
