Three bands. The first a local Detroit band by the name of the Satin Peaches. A very good sound that was somewhere between Radiohead and Modest Mouse. As far as opening bands go they really kicked ass and played a great set. Next was Jason Collett with another band whose name I do not recall (started with a p). A very good live performer who had a sound that was very Bob Dylan. As I am a big fan of Bob Dylan I very much enjoyed this band. The lead singer was a bit eccentric, a very good stage performer. He had to stop the show once to break up a fight. One guy got thrown out. Very entertaining. Last was the headliner: The Sam Roberts Band. These guys really know how to put on a great live show. They were energetic and engaging. The music itself was awesome but the performance was what clinched it. Awesome solos and jam sessions. The lead guitarist kicked ass. These guys really knew how to rock out. A very kick ass show. Wish I had me some pictures.
