Once Upon a Time...
It is funny to go back and read the last journal posts all 8 of my livejournal friends had posted. Most are from at least 2 years ago. It is funny because B's last entry talks about a new distraction who has become her husband! Squid is still in Chicago and going to marry the Pxy who is probably back down to mild-moderate. the Xesy one is not only done with vet school but has travelled various states to get to where she belongs, and I don't think she is done yet. The Best has a very new blog career, a long way from being proud of her twins eating apple sauce by themselves as she has a newer baby. Airbase is still with Bri and probably still loving Michael even though he has been gone awhile as has Whitney... So many changes and yet here we are, captured in time, through the original social media. Xesy even mentions the "new thing" - MySpace!
I miss the days when checking in on my social media meant getting to actually read more than a flash in the pan of my friends. You know, on facebook, I have more than 8 friends, but here are 8 people I wouldn't mind hearing more of my thoughts as opposed to a one-line status update.
So for ye who eventually check in, and possibly find this, just know that I like that there is a frozen moment in time, a back-in-the-day when we were younger capture of who we all were.
