Wednesday the trash was put out and the Collie and Berg watched while the trash guys took a few seconds to load in the truck what took a half hour to gather and put out there.
In the afternoon Hob and Boom took a walk to the river, almost to Station Square to look at the Three Rivers building, a white building with an S on it that we see every time and Hobnose wanted to check it out.
We went through the West End, and then to Carson Street, and crossed it to the other side, where it's harder to walk, but that's the side the building is on. We went past a company called Compucom that had a logo that looks straight out of the 70s, and past buildings with no sidewalk and close to the street with cars flying by.
We got to the building and went through an open front area, where 'Dog' something was written on a wall. Actually there wasn't much graffiti at all in the front of the building. Someone rode past real fast and Hobnose barked that they said 'Get out of there!'. I looked up and didn't know where it came from, so I think it was just some joker going by wanting to scare Dogs.
We went through the Duquesne Incline's yard to get to some train tracks and got to see the building from the back, and there was more graffiti here, but I don't remember Rupt as much, there were different ones, like 'ebay', and Fade might have been there. To get back to West End, we just took the tracks since we were already on them, and it seemed to be way faster.
One odd thing we saw was a row of telephone poles going for hundreds of feet, with 16 wires on insulators between each of them, spaced about a foot apart and wired together. The wire curtain just started with one pole and ended with the last, with no other wires or poles around. What was this wall of wires for? We couldn't figure it out, maybe it's some kind of antenna or science experiment?
We came back near dark and had a burger meal, then watched an It's Alive Show from a few weeks ago with Star Man who is like Superman, and we curled up on the floor and napped for a few minutes. Having a long adventure walk and then food made us mellow I guess. After that movie, we put in The Wedding Singer and watched that. Hob likes some of Adam Sandler's stuff, and the story was okay, and the sound track was loaded with 80s music and that was the best part. His mom sang Rapper's Delight, that was pretty funny.. :)
Today Collie and me are going to the thrift store, and tonight we will all go to the South Side with those fun loving creatures the Furries to Games N 'at arcade. Hob and me might check out the South Side or who knows what we will find tonight.
