We woke up and Ron called, he had been looking at sites and found our journal. He was going to be in the area and wanted to visit. My gas is out, so there's no hot water here, and we needed to go to Bruce's place to bathe the Collie. On the way, Hobnose found a full cigarette lighter, it was green. We have been finding SO many lighters around.
Ron came by and picked us up near Bruce's, and as we were coming back, there was a trash pile where we found a video cassette of a movie called Roman Holiday and some light bulbs in the trash. Then we went back to my house, and Ron came in for a few minutes, then we followed him to his house, Hobnose walked out and then came back and got Boomer, and we found a whole mess of firecrackers. We came back and stowed them in the car. We thought about food, pizza first, and then wings were decided on.
So we headed towards Shop and Save, but Hobnose saw a sign for Home Depot, and thought about getting the LED night light that Boomer had been wanting. We went to a dollar store, and since we were already there at Century 3, we decided to go to Giant Eagle for the food instead. Hobnose saw a Ty Border Collie, a large one $10.99, but there was too much white on it. The scanners were giving problems when we went to check out.
Then we went back to Rons and ate food, and watched music videos, but then we were both getting tired and wanted to get going. We headed back and went just to look at an old theater, the one I saw Shaggy DA at, then to Wal-Mart. There was a special color-changing bulb that Hob wanted, and we also looked at the selection of Adora Balls that they had. I got a Kidsongs DVD called We Love Trucks.
Then as we walked out, the Collie found another cigarette lighter in blue, and it was new. Then we had the wonderful idea of putting two together, to use the new lighter with the fireworks we found, but now we had to look for a secret place to set them off.
We couldn't find one so we were heading home, and suddently Hobnose saw a color TV sitting out in a parking lot next to a dumpster. We brought the TV home set it up and it works woof all of the way. It's a 15 inch set.
When we got in, we listened to disks that Ron had given, the Flock of Seagulls, then watched two Twilight Zone, and then we went to bed. It was great, thanks for the disks and the hospitality Ron.
