argh!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! shit, damn, damn! I hate that portugal lost, hate hate HATE IT!! b/c i so wanted them to face off against italy and i wanted to see my two loves (ronaldo and luca toni) and all was for nothing b/c portugal got spanked and didn't even take it to over time.
second, damn italy to all hell! yes, i wanted them to win and I rushed home as fast as possible (after three days of waiting for the final game i went to the store w/ my mom around 1 b/c i'm dumb like that) and made it w/ 20 minutes left of the second half only to be terribly disappointed and pissed by 30 minutes of overtime that ended in penalty kicks and italy still sucking ass!! (forgive my language) who were they passing to?! france! why?! and their ball control sucked and the only thing worse than their defense was their offense that continually lost the ball and spent half the game (no joke) falling over their own two feet. ::sigh:: can you tell i'm upset? The only redeeming parts of the game: 1. italy's goalie was so on it was sad that he had to play w/ his team. they would have done better to just let him play one-on-one with the entire french team b/c his guys weren't guarding him worth shit 2. the goal that france almost headed in before italy's goalie blocked it out of nowhere...so sweet! 3. Zidane head-butts another player, gets red-carded, and gets thrown out. i couldn't believe it! i was on the phone w/ my sister the entire time and we couldn't stop laughing. even now, i'm laughing...lol...::sigh::

You do realize Italy won...right? Lol. What are you talking about no defense? Everytime the French were even near the goal, the entire Italian team was over there. Actually though, Italy was doing pretty well in the first half. You should've been around to see that. You would've been proud then. But yeah...that was a pretty sweet save...and Zidane...yeah...lmao. Who the hell, in a fit of rage, decides that the best option is to head butt the other guy in the chest? I can't believe he almost got away with that. All in all, Italy deserved to win. 1) Because Zidane was a douche. 2) Did you notice when Salgon (?) ran into that other guy, walked away...and then after a good five seconds..bent over and pretended to be hurt? Shitty acting does not win World Cups. That...and France's only goal was a penalty kick.
But yeah...it would've been nice to have Portugal there...who wouldn't have loved to see Ronaldo again? :)
