Spicy McHaggis
So, my future is officially eternally up in the air. I spoke to some people in the Arabic department today, to see exactly why they turned me down for this summer. Somehow I got the head of the department pondering; I told him how I couldn't stay in Austin unless I was getting money, and how I'm nervous to be going to Egypt with only one year of Arabic....and he's all, "Well, let me look over your application again, and talk to your teacher! Come back and see me on Thursday!". Dammit! From now on, I am going to refuse to become comfortable with any ideas until I know for absolutely certain that they are going to happen. Well, I suppose we'll see what happens on Thursday?
