Watched a bunch of movies over the weekend. Some were great, others weren't so great. ...
IP Man was in my opinion a great movie. It reminded me of Jet Li's Fearless. I thought it had a lot more of a plausible storyline than Fearless. Liked it a lot better too.
According to Greta---Not a bad Hillary Duff movie, but then it's a Hillary Duff movie...Thought her acting was better in this movie than her other ones...not sure if she could pull off the whole "I want to kill myself" role though.
KICKASS---Haha this movie was funny! The plot wasn't actually what I thought it was going to be but then it was pretty decent. My favorite character: HITGIRL..
Cop Out-- I enjoyed it. The movie had its moments and then it didn't.
The Collector--Scary as Sh-t.! This movie is for those into all those SAW movies that if you don't mind that there's only a couple people in this movie. Beware, there is some nudity
Descent: Part 2--it carries over from the first movie where the girl who survived is taken back into the caves to try to find the other girls. It is a slow movie and IMHO, it's not scary. Granted it's has a few "scream like a girl" moment, but that's it. Nothing major.
Sutures--dumb movie. Bad acting. I thought it was gonna be more horror than thriller or suspense, but it's not. Storyline revolves around medical stuff. haha what a great description. but it was lame.
The Losers--thought it was a comedy, but it's not. It's an action movie though there were some comedic moments. Didn't really deliver. Chris Evans is in it as well as the main guy in Stomp the Yard and Zoe Saldana(?) from Avatar.
Death at a Funeral--This movie was hilarious! Definitely, you'll laugh when watching though some scenes will have you squirming uncomfortably because you understand the humor, but not sure how they're gonna get themselves out of the mess. Quite vague, eh? My brother said it was good, but the movie kinda seem to drag. Beware, Nudity will make a couple cameos. Zoe Saldana makes a return in this movie as the sister to one of the guys in The Losers.
The Proposal--Sandra Bullocks is pretty funny, the movies has some great moments, but alas, it was really slow moving for me. Wasn't as funny as I thought it was gonna be. Reminded me of Four Christmas how it had some funny parts, but was mainly kind of boring. I love Sandy, but probably won't watch again.
