information regarding tie-breaks
In the interests of transparency and because some of the current heats look like they may be extremely close votes, some information about tournament adjudication and tie-breaks.
1. hng_deathmatch is run by more than one moderator, some of whom are participating in the current tournament.
2. Moderators do not vote either for themselves or for any other participants, except in /one/ situation.
3. The one situation is when the voting period for a match comes to an end with the results still tied. In this case the moderators will cast a tie-break vote based on the consensus among the mods.
4. If a moderator is also acting as a participant in a match that results in a tie, we will always cast the tie-break in favour of our opponent.
5. The mods are attempting to make the tournament as fair and unbiased as possible. If there are any problems you see or any concerns you have regarding the voting process/tournament setup, either leave a comment on this entry or e-mail hngdeathmatch@gmail.com
