Job Thoughts, Two Weeks Later
So the new job has been going on for about two weeks now, which means I think I've experienced enough to come up with a decent opinion on it.
Not too bad.
Bad news first. I didn't get the police job, which is personally good news, but bad news based on prospective futures. Also my boss is kind of an asshole. He's the kind of person who wants everything done NOWNOWNOW. He calls to tell me of a job and wants a time within 10 seconds, even if I can't hear where it is. I mean. How am I supposed to give an accurate time of arrival, when I can't hear where it is?! He flipped out when I didn't answer because I was in the middle of nowhere and had no cell signal.. I mean how is that my fault?
On the bright side I have yet to have any issues with any of my other jobs. I have done well on quite a few of them, gotten some tips. And I mean, stuff happens. Like, today I had one where the spare tire was RIDICULOUSLY stuck and we had to get some help to pop the thing out and get it down.
Recently though, IE: Earlier today. I noticed that the new sign I got, just this weekend, has freaking disappeared. I have NO IDEA where it went...
I'm kinda scared to tell them...
