My how things have changed in the last week!
On Tuesday I found out that I got this absurd, local scholarship. Their contribution is still unspecified, but the way I understand it they subtract your financial aid/scholarships/parental contribution from the total costs of the university, and provide you with that amount. So this basically opened up a bunch of opportunities that I had previously thought were closed to me because of the cost-prohibition. By Wednesday I had decided that I'm now actually going to [drum roll] the University of Pennsylvania!
Which is absolutely crazy. Now that I'm actually going there, I'm falling in love with it. I'm definitely missing the idea of Montreal, but I couldn't pass up this type of education for a city....
Oh, and I also graduated. LAWL.
So this week, I get to take my Spanish exam, finalize all of the stuff with Penn, graduation party, buy a horn (since i'm finally giving up the school horn that i've had for four years) and drive up to Daytona Beach [by myself] for my best friend's graduation and ensuing celebration. Looking forward to everything but the Spanish exam.
