thank god for small victories (that correspond to battles i wasnt even conscious of fighting)
So here's a pleasant surprise ladies and gents.
I am flat broke (okay, THAT is def. not the surprise.) so after i cashed my paycheck a week and a half ago, I decided that it would be smart to try to only use small bills as needed. At the moment I don't have a debit card and my account is close because of how overdrawn i am and my credit card is over the limit so when i say broke i mean the cash in my hand, bros and bras. I make 102$ and change every two weeks after going to the check cashing place thats like 98 and change (fuckers) and then this is supplemented by tips.
given: i did have a pretty damn good week and a half in tips. however, i have also been way more picky about eating because of my meds so the asian noodle bowls arent cutting it and i bought hummus and pita twice. which tips the scales back towards average.
i just counted my money up because tomorrows sunday and sunday is generally never too much of a drain on my own personal economy and i get paid again on monday. and what do i have?
A hundred in cash! i didnt break even fools, I made two bucks! plus i have just about ten dollars in change so really, i made like twelve bucks because i went to coinstar last monday. ( i have to do that again thought because i 1. forgot to get It's like that by mariah carey and 2. now need to get Don't wait too long but madeleine peyroux. in general i should probably just have some money to play around with on itunes.)
This means that my general undercurrent feeling of needing to save money made me twelve dollars this week. by monday i could have enough to have a bank account again. however, this statemtn is false because monday is transpass day. foiled again.
but the fact that i can in fact get to the end of the week without being flat on my ass is pretty nice. maybe in fact, i will be able to afford anything ever again ever.
