The worst moment was right after Gwen was kidnapped and Morgana looks out of her window and smirks. The girl who's taken care of you for YEARS and whom you used to love was just assaulted and kidnapped and will now go through extreme emotional torture.

I BLOODY KNOW~!!!!! I LOVE EVIL!MORGANA AND IM ONE OF THE ONES THAT LIKES HER LIKE THAT. BUT CMON WHAT DID GWEN DO TO YOU!!!!!!!!!SHE LOOKED AFTER YOU AND NOW SHE'S HAPPY THAT SHE'S GONNA GET KIDNAPPED!!!!!!!!!!!I also hated the fact that Morgana just wanted Arthur dead. I know why she does because she resents Uther for the fact that he hates magic, used magic to create Arthur and won't acknowedge her because of Arthur. But why? Why Morgana why. Especially when he went back to save you!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. "No, you just poison them." This was the one scene during which I actually felt for Morgana. i ( ... )

I actually don't in that scene. Yes, what Merlin did was wrong, but Merlin had to do it to save everyone. If he didn't then everyone would have died. Yes, Morgana didn't know how much invloved in that plot she was, but even so. She pointed out in episode 1 that she understood that Merlin did it to save everyone. So well she may have a reason to be angry (many reasons to be angry), that doesn't accuse her actions. To me anyway... a lot of people are going to disagree with me on this. The thing is, he never even approached the issue with her before trying to kill her. He never gave her a chance. I agree that he poisoned her because he had to (and whose side she was on wouldn't have mattered in the end -- it was Morgana or Camelot), but in Morgana's eyes he betrayed her. She just wanted to get rid of a dictator. She didn't know she'd become a vessel for that spell. And LOL, she only said that because she was playing him. She didn't understand why he did it/forgive him for what he did ALL ( ... )

I know either way it wouldn't matter, because in Morgana's eyes he betrayed her. And there is one thing about Morgana that we know: her ability to hold a grudge. Maybe thats why Merlin wasn;t open about that. Because he knew either way, Morgana would still hold a grudge. I can sort of understand that too. I mean he did poision her (despite being for important reasons), so I sort of undertsand why morgana is angry. WHY TAKE IT ( ... )

Lol, I think that the main point that she was making is that when Merlin was saying, "I could never imagine hurting my friends," he was being a hypocrite and forgetting that one BIG time that he indeed did so! ;) She was pointing out the flaw in his statement...even if one thinks Merlin had been doing the right thing, he was still hurting his friend, and thus was wrong in what he had just said.

Yes, I can understand your point. But I also think that Merlin gets a hard time about about that issue. Yes, what he did was wrong, but on the other hand he had to to save their friends and the whole of Camelot. Merlin didnt want to do it, i mean really we should just blame the dragon.

Lol well yes, obviously the dragon is more to blame, though Merlin should have learned by then not to listen to EVERYTHING he says, after the whole evil reveal at the end of season 1...

But that is one reason why Merlin and the Dragon being BFFs now pisses me off so much...*sigh* Stupid hypocritical Dragon...

Yeah, well its unfortunate that Melrin listens to the dragon, but Merlin hasn't had much contact with the dragon this seires. And in 3x05 he didn't listen to the dragon and made him help him save Morgana. So you know... I just get slightly annoyed when people are really hard on Merlin. So he does things I don't agree with, but people can be a bit tough on him.

I think sometimes people might be hard on Merlin because, due to how the show is structured/set up, Merlin almost always is portrayed as being in the right no matter what (like when he poisons Morgana and almost kills her when she's just going to visit Morgause, Gauis basically pats him on the back and says he did perfectly well), and especially this season with the Dragon's speech about him being "the light" and all that...in short, sometimes it seems like the writers make Merlin out to be pure as the white driven snow, when well, he's not! And that I think might be why people are hard on him sometimes....plus he's the protagonist, so I feel he's always going to get more scrutiny/criticism--he's simply in the spotlight more...
