In a bit of a stunt, I'm reviewing each one of these 21 books for the "Fiction Circus" website.

Basically, I think these books are one of the greatest artifacts of the twentieth century, and every literate person should be reading them together and standing around in awe. If you were around and you spoke Greek when the Odyssey was being composed, and you paid no attention, then you were a damn fool, weren't you?
Anyway, I'm just about to finish reading "The Surgeon's Mate." There are reviews for both M&C and Post Captain available, currently, on the site. Spread the word! And feel free to email me with all of my mistakes so I can fix them.
