and a small tomato salad. The tortilla doesn't look like a tortilla because it fell apart when I was trying to turn it over in the pan. I'm kinda crap at that.
Oh, and I also made chocolate chip cookies today, but they didn't come out so great. I have three recipes for them, one of which I vaguely remember being great. The one I tried today was the wrong one, apparently.
Heh. All I need is a husband and two kids and I'll be the perfect housewife, right?
Truth is, I do enjoy cooking - I just don't enjoy doing it on top of my job. Although most of the dishes I make are fairly easy and not too time-consuming (because I'm a deeply lazy cook), when that half hour of food preparation and twenty minutes of doing the dishes afterwards are added to a full work day, even easy stuff feels hard. Still, when I go back to work, I really need to find a way to integrate cooking into my week, because I do feel a lot better when I'm eating well.
BTW, if anything I make strikes your fancy, feel free to ask for recipes. I can't promise the recipe will be very precise or detailed, but I'm perfectly willing to give you the basics. (I'm not a very exact cook, so my recipes are usually on the vague side.)
